Important Dates

June 5, 2001 is the date on which you must own real estate adjoining or underlying the Settlement Corridors in order to be a Class Member.

July 13, 2001 is the postmark deadline for submitting a Roll Registration Form to the Settlement Center in order to be conditionally added to the Class Member List. You may download a copy of the Form from the Legal Documents page, or you may request a copy from the Fiber Optic Fund I Settlement Center. If you received a personally addressed Notice you are on the preliminary list of Class Members and need do nothing more at this time to be included on the list of Class Members.

July 28, 2001 is the date by which "opt out" requests must be postmarked. All potential Class Members except the named representative Class Plaintiff are entitled to "opt out" or exclude themselves from the Settlement Class. No cash, membership interests or other benefits of the Settlement will be distributed to a Class Member who opts out of the Settlement, and the rights of that Class Member against T-Cubed will not be affected. July 28, 2001 is the postmark deadline for written comments on the Settlement. Any Class Member who does not opt out may present written comments or objections to the proposed Settlement by mailing them by the postmark deadline to the Fiber Optic Fund I Settlement Center. Any Class Member not submitting written comments or objections by the postmark deadline will be deemed to have waived objection and will be foreclosed from objecting (by appeal or otherwise) to the proposed Settlement.

August 21, 2001 is the date of a Court hearing to finally determine the fairness, adequacy, and reasonableness of the proposed Settlement. The hearing will be conducted in the United States Courthouse, 46 East Ohio Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204, in room 210, at 2:00 p.m. Any request to appear at the hearing, in person or through counsel, must be clearly indicated in a written submission postmarked no later than July 28, 2001. Class Members who support the proposed Settlement need not appear at the hearing or submit any comments.
